Why You Acting Salty?

First, let me say that ANYONE acting salty over this election is doing the most.

Obama will be the 44th President of the United States of America. Before that....there were 43 CAUCASIAN/White Presidents.

Seriously??? You gone be salty over 1 Black/African American President? I mean sheesh, give his Caucasian/White side props if you salty about his Black/African American side.

Some dumb ass lady was on the radio serious as the coming of Armageddon talking about she didn't vote for him because his name is Obama....cricket? For real? Of ALL the reasons in the world NOT to vote for him, THIS is the highly illogical one you pick??? I've said it before and I will say it again...

THAT MAN DID NOT DECIDE TO NAME HIMSELF BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA II. HIS WHITE/CAUCASIAN MOTHER FELT PERFECTLY FINE NAMING HER SON AFTER HIS FATHER.

So why is it of notable mention AT ALL? Don't fault people for the names their parents give them. He's obviously a respectful son and decided hey, if it was good enough for my mother, it's good enough for me.

The DJ asked the lady if that was her MAIN reason for why she didn't vote for him. She confirmed her stupidity and said "Yes....well that is ONE of my MAIN reasons". Die yesterday for your stupidity woman. IT'S A DAMN NAME; NOT HIS RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION OR HIS ASPIRATIONS IN LIFE. Damn idiot...

The point of this blog is...don't be salty because of CHANGE. I mean, it makes me feel like some people would really be fine if Black/African American people never progressed another day in their small framed lives. Allow me to clarify; I was still talking about the idiots feeling some kind of way about the new Presidents name, not the Black/African Americans.

The statuses of McCain supporters on Facebook have been THE most hilarious and while I've been tempted to ask "what do you mean by that", it is comments like "is hoping that is the last we will ever see of the Governor from Alaska" that remind me that everyone is not being salty because maybe they do acknowledge that CHANGE is necessary to move forward.

And that is all...no coffee...just much needed agua :)

And this just in...a lady called the radio station to say she saw no historical relevance to the USA having a Black/African American president....clearly she's been living under a rock in the depths of Hades. THAT....that almost made me mad, NOT because I am Black but because she is stupid and CHOOSING to stay stupid things AND felt the need to let other people know that she is stupid and wants to spread her stupid. I want someone to play her words back to her to hear because 20, 30, 40...I'll even go so far to say 8 years ago, the USA would not have had a Black/African American president. AGAIN...Obama will be the 44th President of the United States of America. Before that....there were 43 CAUCASIAN/White Presidents. If she can't see any historical leaps and bounds in that FACT, she's dumber than all my brother's pet rocks from when he was a young chap, put together. I really want to believe a box of rocks is not going to be smarter than her...I do, but she isn't giving me much with this idiocy she just spouted.

Ok...now I'm done.

People (i.e some white folks) have been showing their true colors over Obama winning this election.

Give it a few years of him getting things in order and doing well in office-you'll hear nothing but people giving him credit for being a great president and talking about how he wouldn't be who he is if he wasn't half white and raised by white people lol just watch...

@ Chichi: they ain't the only ones acting like some clowns now...LOL

@ Chanel: I agree there are people waiting for him to make some mistakes so they can tear him down...its the nature of the beast unfortunately

LMAO,

The whole Republican reaction is funny as hell. They have turned on Palin, when they were swearing up and down that she had enough experience to be vice president.

I am just glad that the ignorance of the callers have been trumped by the intelligence of voters.

Cheers to hopefully 8 years of bliss.
